TOURISM: Tossa de Mar

Taken from an email I have recently sent to a friend.

"Romanticism is an art, and even though I made it happen just once, that one time is still the best part of my life. Yes, I had a fairytale love with a girl, something people can only dream of. We were in Spain, on a small town facing the Mediterranean sea, and we lived every second of out magic two weeks together. Playing ping-pong, dancing waltzers, eating ice cream from each other's hands, sunbathing watching the drops dry on the naked chest, diving into the sea at night, walking down the promenade sharing pills of philosophy as we lived a previous life as a couple.

I did most part of the loving, she accepted it and gave what she could, but I mostly have to credit her for giving me no physical manifestation of affection at all. During the first week, while we started dancing, she asked me "were you thinking about kissing me?" and I answered "I sure was dreaming about it". To never satisfy a dream is to keep it alive instead of killing it and moving to the following step, the weakness of the human mind.

Since then I never felt anything like that, I had other girlfriends but I was always the settler, and I believe I ll be the one taking care of my future her and that can be good enough. I tossed in the garbage two people's love, there won't be a third, it's good to be with someone that loves you. Anyways, it's always one way or the other, in each couple there's one that loves more than the other."
