It's one of the finest cities I ve ever seen in my life, I have been there 4 times, it's clean, it's beautiful, it's no-traffic zone (city center). Best time to go there is september, when the Lucca Comics is held. 5000 people going around the city dressed up like cartoons, movie characters and such. For the event, this quite elegant place rich in architecture - it also known like the city of 100 churches - becomes a party of colors and life. In the picture, my favorite fresco
